Week 2: Digital Me

Well we are really getting thrown into this technology thing! For my digital project, I created a Voki. You will have to work with me because I have absolutely no idea how to use Voki. I am sure that by the end of the semester I will be a pro at all things technology! Once I get the hang of things I am sure that I will be able to create a better Voki. Check back in a few weeks.

Let’s move on. Everyone else did an amazing job on their digital me projects! I never realized how many amazing websites there were that you can use for students to introduce themselves to you. As I mentioned there is Voki, word cloud, voicethread, thinglink, glogster, nearpod, and many more. Not only could you use these for students to introduce themselves to you, but they are also amazing educational tools. These are ways that you can really engage you students to get involved with your class and make learning fun! Since the world we live in is very technology driven, it is so important for students to learn how to use these amazing tools. By giving students these tools, they are able to give you a window into their world. You may learn that some of your students love explaining themselves through art by using thinglink or wordclouds, and some students are better at explaining their thought process and use voicethread or voki.
