Amazing job group 4 and Last Day Blues
Wow! Group 4, you did an amazing job!
They did an incredible job of keeping their direct lesson interesting and engaging for students while presenting them with all of the information that they would need to know. This is no easy task! They had an amazing behavior management system that made it fun for students. (Teachers vs. Environmentalists). All of the information was presented in a clear way that made it easy for students to understand. For their inquiry part of the lesson, they split the class into groups and told them the story of Fred the fish. It fit in perfectly with their lesson and was an amazing interactive way for students to understand the effects of water pollution. I think it was a great way to send our students off.
Tonight was our last meeting with this wonderful group of students and I hope that we did well by them. It isn't easy to have to deal with four groups of teacher candidates teaching you information that you may not care about. I do think that it is safe to say that we have had a positive impact on how students view the environment. My hope for these students is that they continue to think that 'Everyday is Earth Day" and apply the lessons we taught them to their everyday life.
