This week for our science methods class we had to participate in the BD science fair! I was so excited to redeem myself for my project gone wrong in 5th grade. I can honestly say I was unsuccessful.
For my science project, I found this amazing
project that turned salt water into fresh water. I also thought that this would make a great connection to my unit plan.
I set everything up and followed the directions to a T. I placed the bowl in the window and returned the next day to a sad discovery; it didn't work. So I set everything up again, found an even sunnier spot, and waited. Again, the experiment didn't work. I am willing to bet that due to the cold February temperatures, this is why the experiment failed. I am determined to try it again with my students at summer camp! Eventually I will have an amazing science fair project!

I love that you still posted this even though it was a fail! Fellow students and colleagues can take this as a learning experience! great job Kaitlyn!
