Earth's Layers

How much do you know about the layers of the Earth? That's the question that I asked myself before beginning this thinglink project. The answer that I came up with was not much. I know there are four layers, but I didn't know much about those layers. Dr. Smirnova broke our class up into groups and sent us off to make our discoveries. Thinglink was a website that I had used before and thought it would give this project and extra layer of creativity. My group dove in and discovered as much as we could about each of the layers. This was honestly a great learning experience for me and was very useful information. This is definitely a lesson that I would bring into my classroom. I believe it is incredibly engaging resource for teachers that will really grab students attention. I know it did for me!
