Greetings from Florida!
As I have discussed in a previous blog post, I love space! As I was browsing through the local news, I noticed this article on a historical launch of SpaceX. The program is launching an unmanned rocket into space and I hope I get to catch a glimpse of it tonight! Not only is this exciting because the rocket is going to space, but it is the programs first launch in Florida since the Falcon 9 exploded on the launch pad in September of 2016. The program has launched other rockets at other locations since. Scientists believe that it will take about two days to get to the space station, from which it will then be unloaded.
Space is on of the topics I am most excited to teach my future students about. There is just so much to learn about, it is literally infinite! Who knows, maybe one day you'll hear about some crazy teacher who ended up in space (hint: that crazy teacher would be me).
